Just liked the muted colour. It was a cold morning dull and overcast. But it was nice to see a rose in december.

Peter, like your rose. You can almost feel the temperature. Pity about the dof but the rose is very sharp. Well done. Regards Paul.

This is very beautiful. Freeze dried rose.
I like the kind of viens you can see in it. And the way you have pictured it bowing down, on it's way to death.

But you can still imagine how it would look in full bloom. I was just thinking this morning that I have not seen a spring here in Latvia yet, so I think soon I will see the opposite of this, a growth of new things...

You are realy an excellent photographer Peter. I like the atmospere of this picture.

Ici au Québec il n'y a aucune chance de trouver une plante gelée, tout est enfoui sous la neige depuis quelques mois. Vraiment très intéressante cette photo... bravo...

Very nice shot Peter, it is as you say "nice to see a rose in December", very good DOF despite the overcast weather you managed to get a very nice and balanced lighting. The colors and deatail are very good too!
The only sad thing is that the rose is dying from the frost.
Well done!

Hi Peter.
This is an incredible picture of an usual subject! I must say that your composition is so full of feelings and emotions! It contains a real mood, and life! It has some tragical mood, some sad atmophere with those deep colors which makes it into a beautiful and appealing picture. It simply touches us.
Congratulations.
Luci
