Another day at Manchester Airport, This time the planes were taking off from right to left (runway known as 06/24L) this gives a better oppertunity to catch some interesting landings especially when its windy :)
This was a particularly good landing.

Nice dramatic capture You got the moment nice simple and powerful.

Hi John

Great to see you back posting (and remeber that pint of Cains will be waiting for you on Wednesday..)

A smokin jumbo dragon good work on the pan....I bit to tight on the crop as a bit of a gripe but that don't detract from this being a very good 'plane shot

Ron

Hello John, nice to see you back!

Sure is smokin alright, you have captured this well..I can just feel that power.

Kind regards

Hi John
Good shot of this cargo plane landing. Tyres smoking on landing. Great. I used to work in the bank at this Airport in the 60's. I expect that things have changed since then.
Well done with this image TFS.
Mike

Touchdown !
Welcome back John! Pretty happy to see you on line. Great timing indeed. May be just a bit too tight composition here, but it gives us a panoramic view. In fact , could you try to upload the larger version ?
Cheers!
Robert

Good to see you back Johnny O :-) Great shot.
Hugs
Josine

Good work John my friend. Well timed and well composed with good colour and detail. I would love to take shots such as this but the airport here is very small, not very busy and the jets which fly in are not as impressive as a Jumbo. Well done and TFS,
David

Many thanks for your comment on ‘Street Busking’

Hi John,
Missed this posting apperantly. Excellent capture of this touch down. I smell the scent of burning rubber :)
I looks to me this is the Dragonair's registration B-KAA a B747-312(SF)freigter but I'm not sure I can't read the nosedoor letters too good. Anyway superb posting my friend!
Hans
