Very nice capture of early teenagehood: Too old to play - too young to chase girls. Hence bored and just hanging out doing nothing. The composition capturing the interaction between them is good, the DOF is classic and the light just oozes 'Cloudy England' - as if their pale skin didn't already.
This looks straight out of a Ken Loach movie. Great pic!

That is a great shot. The contrast between the boy on the left and his companions is wonderful.

You are so right Yitzhak - I work with youth, and can definately vouch for that. Sometimes you can be 24, and look like the two on the right, then you can be 18, and look like the mature looking boy on the left. It is almost as if you can see the path of their life. This is really a great capture. Well done.

Great candid shot of the three boys, Yitzhak. Yes the range from "boyish" to "manly" seems to be represented here. The left one seems to want to play it cool with his baggy pants. Good DOF too, nice shot.

I giggled when I first read the note. I thought these boys were a bit to young to be on a Lager tour. Lager is a beer. Then I realized you must have meant larger.
Very good candit shot. Although it looks a little on the pale side, I think you have captured their expressions very well.

This caught my attention immediately. I often wish I had the courage to get out the camera and shoot people this way. How close were you? Were they aware of you shooting? It looks as if the boy in the middle has seen you. I am fairly certain you didn't talk to them first, or they wouldn't have been so natural. Your interpretation of them is spot on.

I agree with your note! That's interesting. I like the different attitude of each of the three guys : one at left who doesn't care, the one in the middle taking care of you, and the third at right playing with something on his friend. Very nice postrait of three teenagers.
Maybe I would just have cropped tighter a little more on top of the picture, just under the darker horizontal line of the wall. This line follows the border of the image and creates a "second" border. This disturbs me a little.
