One from the archives!

Taken back in Sept 2005 when I was back in the UK - my daughter on the left, my friend's son on the right. We went for a walk in some woodland park and little Joseph spotted a playpark...so he took Hannah by the hand and off they strolled.

As I remember, one of them fell over shortly after this photo was taken and there were tears galore. Still, it was a sweet moment while it lasted!

I think this was shot with a Canon Powershot S40, converted to b/w, cropped, resized and sharpened.

Richard,
Such a great photo without even showing their faces.
They remind me of an old couple with the old man pointing the way! :)Such a good capture, I'd frame this one!

My wife walked in saw this and said "that is cute"
She liked the composition and it reminded her of Flower Pot Island (now I have to find out why)
I liked the choice of B&W as this makes the photo ageless.

Just like in your notes, a great "I remember" when...

very nice moment captured here richard :)
they look like they are enjoying themselves
very good sharpness and depth :)

I love moments like this! So adorable! Something to shot them when they grow up! The BW works incredibly well here Richard! Just priceless!

I love this shot, this is one that sells, the two kids together is so sweet. The notes setting up the shot really make it.
I like the park setting. It is as if you can see the little boy telling your daughter to go this way. You caught your daughter in mid step, so this adds to the mood. B/W is a good choice, it adds to the mood. TFS

What a sweet shot! I love it in the b & w as well. And your composition is spot on! You captured such a wonderful moment.

Hi Richard,

Ah your little girl has such nice hair... the slight wave in the tendrils, very sweet. The DOF is wonderful, adds to the effect of walking off in the distance. The little models are precious... and just so sweet. :) I love how he's pointing and she's looking, this lets the viewer understand that there is communication happening within the shot.

Beautiful. :)

Biance.

Oh Richard, what a precious picture. You can see by Hannah's hand and arm, that she is careful and maybe could have used another hand in that big world surrounding her.
No colour needed in this picture.
Thanks for your note, I love a background story to go with a picture.
Have a nice day and say hi to your wife,
Els

Hi Richard,
Lovely picture. So sweet, but also well taken. B&W works well, and crop is good.
Nice job!
TFS, Darlene
