Off on holiday, Thomson leaves Manchester Airport for warmer places. As you can see by the weather here I think all on the viewing platforms wished they where on it too :)

Nicely captured and well done on the composition.

Hi John
Good shot and good timing. Good sharp detail on the subject. The small airplanes on the ground indicate that you panned with the plane. We do not know what shutter speed you used. Very good capture.

Great shot Johnny Bye bye

Hi John,

Bora Bora would be nice! (^_^) I like how you captured the plane but left the background in a slight blurr! Great panning as it really displays the element of movement! (^_^)

Well done
Constantinos

Hi John,
Great freeze action shot! The plane is like floating in the air, excellent DOF and colors. The sharpness and detail great, your timing was perfect!
TFS,
Vassilis

Very well caught John. This is a lovely sharp shot, and right at the decisive moment too.
Well done!

be back with ;)

nice capture, pretty sharp too with the rest blurry.

nice one

tom

Hello John, the composition, sharpness and panning technique are spot on, the planes colour scheme against the background makes it stand out even more, almost 3D.

Well done, Regards, Roger

Hi John. Excellent timing. I tried one a while back with Virgin Blue but I miscalculated the speed he was climbing at and zoomed too much, a nice shot I had of 3/4 of a plane. Super colour and fine detail with just the right amount of blur in the background. Well done and TFS,
Dave

Many thanks for your comment on ‘Woolmer's - Rose Garden’. I don't worry about my monitor anymore John. It has been set to the highest resolution and I find my images are much clearer even when I reduce them for TL.

Hello John.. Great capture absolute In the right moment. Nice sharp photo I like it..

Good capture of the moving plane John, and I love the motive on its tail.

Helo John,
This is a very nice photo , I like the perfect sharpness and focus of the large jet with the small blurred one on the ground, we can really feel the speed and the movement.
Greetings.
Luc

Hello John!

Great timing, synchro and panning work. I like the smiling symbol on her tail (*_^).
Grass is as Green as our Baron (^_^)
Cheers!
