[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
As we have to indicate where a photo is taken I cannot use this as a quiz photo and ask you to guess the city. But a few million people should recognise it instantly nevertheless. And when I tell you that the London Eye and Big Ben are quite visible - please start looking.

This was really a freak shot - or rather one of a series of three or four. The Luxair pilot was kind enough to take off from Heathrow going straight over Central London and I was sitting on the right (the lefthand) side of the plane. The original photo looked pretty terrible but I have acquired a habit of enhancing misty and grey arial shots so that in many ways they look better to me than the views I remember. But isn't photography often like that?

Hi Per
Unusual view. I was never in London. Now I know where he is Big Ben. Congratulations!

Rather flat for an anthil, isn't it, Per ? ;o).
Nice capture and good work on levels, saturation and the rest. Cool aerial view - it's not often we get to see a scene like this here on TL.

I guessed the location right away because of the River Thames which goes through London. This is a really nice arial view of the city.

Great view, but can't find my home :)
I greatly remember London, as spend most of my life there.

Nice aerial view, good and pretty clean, good detail.

Tom

Hello Per !

I spotted them at once. Great sharpness despite this one was taken through an airplane window. A nice place to visit. But to live, I am not sure since now it is the most expensive city in the world to live......

Bravo!
Robert
