Hi!!!
After beeing away in the UK for a long weekend (visiting friends) it's good to be back here to be able to satisfy my NEEDS!!! I am a TL-addict you know.
And beeing so, I of course have to post a picture for you that I took down in Ely, where we stayed.
We were soooo very lucky with the weather this time as it shows in the image.

I just cropped a bit off, added some contrast and gave it a frame... hope you like it!

Accoording to Wikipedia:
Ely Cathedral (in full, The Cathedral Church of the Holy and Undivided Trinity of Ely) is the principal church of the diocese of Ely, in Cambridgeshire, England, and the seat of the Anglican Bishop of Ely. It is known locally as "the ship of the Fens", because of its prominent shape that towers above the surrounding flat and watery landscape...... (and more, much more).

Cheers,
Anneke

P.s.: Did you know, by the way, that Ely Cathedral is on the cover of Pink Floyd's Division Bell???

Dag Anneke,

pracht-compositie !

Luc.

Hi Anneke,
This really is a sumptuous shot! The p.o.v. is good, the colours are bright and I think you cropped it just right. Well done!

Hi Anneke,
Lovely image! Stunning building nicely framed with the trees and the lovely green grass. Good details and sharpness! TFS
Cheers Tina :-)

hi, you have a very nice photo here. The natural framing of the trees and those beautiful red roofed buildings are perfect. The cathedral itself is stunning, you have a very good composition and eye for detail. I read about the building of this cathedral but never actually saw a picture - I could never have imagined such beauty. Regards, Jean

Bravo !

This photo looks very surreal.
The colours and details are impressive.

Hi Anneke
Very good shot. Good point of view. You know what I think about large borders. I wonder about the tower. Is it leaning? Never the less I think your image has been very well captured. Well done.

Many thanks for your comment on ‘Little Dove I’. I went and had a look at your Batavia and those of Hans. I once spent a weeks holiday in the area where the original Batavia was wrecked...a very rugged coastline.

Anneke, another beautiful post. I like the composition and colours and the DOF is excellent. Well handled.
