Those of my TL friends will already know the answer to the title question, however even I don't know. Or Rather cant remember exactly where this was :o :) as the image is from my archives and was taken quite some time ago. However those of you who are dying to know the answer... Yep!!! Its the North Wales area and I'm not far from Lake Vyrnwy traveling through this tiny village. I jumped out of the car here to get this shot as the light was falling nicely on this group of houses and highlighted them well against the greens in the for and background.

PP = Levels, curves, cloned out some telephone poles and wires, sharpened and finally framed.

Well of course its Wales...Hi John my friend..

Very nicely composed shot with the hill in the BG and lovely GREEN GREEN grass in the foreground..if you had of got Tom Jones sitting on the fence there.. its would have just topped it off...:-)

Thanks for sharing your lovely shot John..

Kiwi Bird friend..
:-)

Well it had to be didn't it John, I mean, where else?
This one was too good to be left languishing in the archives wasn't it?

Lovely scene, grass in the foreground and the wooded hillside for a background. Great POV and composition, nice angle of view.
Congratulations!
Bill

ps
John that link to your fish did not work ?!?

This is a lovely view from Wales. Personally I would have preferred a little less grass in the foreground and more trees in the background, but that's just me. The colours are lovely.

Hi John,

A beautiful country side photo! Great lighting & vivid colours (especially that green grass!) with sharp details!

Well done & TFS

Hello John,
Definitely worth stopping for.
I really like landscapes without any sky. The colours and exposure are very good, the image is nicely balanced.
Those sheep look rather desperate clinging to the hillside.
Regards, Roger.

Hi John,
Such a nice relaxing shot of county living. Nice soft colours and lighting. The hill in behind the homes ties in well to the whole composition beautifully. Nicely presented with the frame as well.
My compliments,

Lovely photo and I will echo the sentiments on green grass. Figuring out where a photo came from is always a good idea,at least then you can go and take more later if you want to and if you have a couple of grabbed shots it usually follows there are more waiting for another day, if you can figure out where.
