Shop Window Design. This kind of art is done by Visual Merchandizers. VM, as they call it, is now becoming a lucrative profession.

Visual Merchandising better known for experts as Retail Marketing. It is the best tool to grab consumers of their very discriminating eye.

For most people, windows - the most upfront means of RM, is just another show of merchandise, but it is actually the pulling thread to showcase the store's taste, unique image and offered personality alongside the goods and commodity sold in the store.

VM's are extraordinary people who translate commodities into forms of momentary art into a establishment's front row, be it in car show rooms or in retail stores.

Pp: Cloned out some reflections, warped, a wee bit of vignette and burning, put a desaturated border w/ white, and then resized. The original is in the WS. I hope you like this one :)

Creatively done through the window, little visibility of reflections make it like a real claudia schiffer.

A good point of view and most of all I think you did a very good PP work to get rid of reflections. Very well done Fred!

Im in advertising myself and your brief summary of VMs and window displays makes a lot of sense, I hadn't really thought about it that much - thanks for the enlightenment.
In that context the image itself makes much more sense as well. Thanks for sharing it!

Hi Freddie, another funny picture, and Claudia... a bit skinny but those eyes and lips are magic! I imagine that,s what David Copperfield though at the time...
