This shot was taken inside the "Humid Tropics Biome" at the Eden Project in Cornwall. It was very difficult to get a decent shot in here as the camera was steaming up instantly! The temperature was 30 degrees and humidity was at 90 percent (too hot for me) However the camera was only of the bag for literaly seconds at a time as I didn't want the internals getting any moisture problems later on.

In this Biome we learned how coffee, chewing gum, chocolate and bananas grow and develop along with how much we can actualy sweat :))

PP = After the usual stuff.... levels, curves etc. I then moved in to layering, masking and channel mixing looking for a sort of negative BG with a tad of colour still showing as a type of frame. I must admit I'm quite happy with the end result.

Very special picture, John. Really creative work. Good job!
Geert ;)

Hello John,
I like the effects you have created here, in particular the mixture of monochrome negative and residual colour positive. The overall outcome is, I think, very creative and conveys to me, an interesting atmosphere of South Pacific meets Key Largo.
Nice one!
Bill

Hello John,
Your post processing skills have been brought to the fore on this one, I really like the results, it has some elements of a X-ray. Good work John.
Regards, Roger.

John, its so different photo. It looks like combination of negative and color. Nice PP done. TFS.

Gee I dont like them hot humid places either John .. would be similar to the butterfly house that I went to recently... too hot for me to stay in there for too long.

Interesting effect you have tried here John..I like the coloured thing on the clothes line.. was that your Tropical loin cloth you had drying off? :-)

Hope all is well with you.

Cheers Dawn.
