I decided to take an alternative view of the flower, You see a lot of posts ( Including many from myself)viewing the flower from above, which is the view that most of us expect to see and would visualise if thinking about a flower. I have taken this from behind the scenes so to speak. The shot was intended to show the intricate detail on the flower, even where its is not usually viewed from. nature does not cut corners, even when its not going to be seen.

very nice macro photo

Hi Andy,
This is a unique image, different. Looks like a Gerbera but not certain from thie angle. The image is of good quality and the detail in the underside of the flower can be seen well.
Cheers,
Debbie

Wonderful Andy!

I love to see posts which are unique like this one. Very nice perpective. You see, there are subjects which seem ordinary but you can turn them into an extraordinary subjects from a different angle.

Love the clarity and the tight cropping.

Hello, Andy!

This is a fantastic shot - so clear and sharp and well-exposed. Also, as you say, the subject matter is wonderful too - it really shows how Nature works to perfection.

A superb and imaginative capture!

Best Wishes,

John.
