Red Hot Poker plants [Kniphofia] are very attractive to these molluscs.

They climb all the way up the stems to the flowers, and presumably find something nourishing to feed on there.

hello Peter,
I like this macro. I like the snails that you have captured in all their shiny hard and slimy soft detail but i also like the bg of softly focused kniphofia heads. I'm a fan of these and other big garden perennials and you could say that like the snail, I am a bit of a sucker for them.

Good macro, nice details on the snails. The background is a bit too saturated in my oppinion.
