Lovely macro of the geranium bud Sinclair.The black b/g complements the bright red and green.The hairs on the bud are so sharp;and the composition is good.

A wonderful shot indeed - so clear and crisp and sharp. You say in your introduction that you are new to this photography lark but you certainly have a good eye for a picture.

P.S. If I could give just one criticism - a nice note is always an advantage - I really do find a note interesting - whether it be about the details of the subject matter or even details of the type of lighting you used or other techicalities - always useful!
