| After heavy rain the rose is blown. My lawn is decorated with fallen petals,as if a wedding has bee held there.Roses are pefection, even those looking a little worse for a battering like ths one. |

Beautiful macro shot Bev, expertly captured. Perfect depth of field too, throwing the background out of focus.

Morning Bev,
I'm so not good in taking pictures from flowers, that I enjoy yours all the more. Once in a while I succeed, but I have to practize more I think. This digital camera has lots of good things, but there is much more to learn.
You seem to know exactly how to do it.
Thanks for sharing this wind blown rose, because it is indeed still beautiful.

Hi, Bev.
Another excellent shot with great colours and well-focused with a clear and sharp image and a nicely out-of-focus background. A nice note too which reminds us that life is indeed ephemeral.
Best Wishes,
John.

Greetings Bev
Wish I could answer your question about the San Francisco Bikers but I have no idea. Maybe I should have followed with my camera when they started their ride.
I like this "poor" rose - the wind and rain did major damage to this one but it did provide a "photographic moment".
Dan
Very beautiful, this flower looks a little sad and lonely, and I like it.
