[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Last in the Hadrian's Wall series, for now, will be visiting there again soon, just as soon as this weather picks up!
Another alternative view from the Housestead Fort part of the wall.

PP resized, saturation and levels adjusted, resharpened and border added!

Thanks again for all the comments related to this and my last two in the series.

Dean.

Again a super shot Dean.

I really like how the nearby remains of the wall leads to the yellow fields in the upper right. They seem to have a little more light on them than the left of the photo.
Colours are great and the detail, especially in the clouds, is super too.
It's a super shot in my opinion.

To me the the remains of the wall (or is it the actual Housestead Fort we can see up close?) looks a bit scattered and it doesn't immediatly show that this is the remains of a wall/fort. That is why favorite of the three has to be the first because I like the more simple look it has with the wall being intact and the three layers you've created with the wall, fields and sky. On top of that the sun light hitting parts of the fields looks fantastic.

Super shot! Looking forward to see what you can bring home from your next visit.

Cheers,
Jens

This one is not so dramatic as the other one I seen. I still really like it though- it shows the beauty of rolling hills and the sky looks great. Great details!

Another beautiful image of this wall. Looks like a great place for a camera outing!

Hello Dean,I like this shot, it gives a good feel for this area and we can see the wall disappearing into the distance.
The light on the hills in the far distance is good.Everything is lovely and sharp.
The only thing that I do not like, and it is only my opinion, is the name on the frame.
Regards Jean.

Hi Dean,

You have taken a fantastic shot from an excellent view point. The colors are brilliant and excellent luminar management. Fine details are adding more charm of vision. Well done.

Thanks for sharing this image.

Hi Dean,

nicely balanced light. Was first thinking ND Grad filters here, but perhaps the light is softer there than here. I wouldn't be able to capture clouds that way here! Good series.

Greetings, Dennis
