Hi all, as you are all well aware by now, the weather here has been dreadful, and as the flowers in the garden are my favourite subject, I've been a bit stumped for material. Today I made a decision, if I cant go to the garden, the garden will come to me. The only flowers that seem to be thriving are the Sweetpeas. Although they were brought down with the wind and rain somewhat, they still manage to beat the elements. To have them vased inside the house is not only bright and cheerful, their sweet scent is also noticeable as soon as you walk in the room.
I took the picture from above, not with any POV in mind, but simply because they are in a vase with a bright Orange Lily design, a colour clash for sure. Believe me, you would hate it!
Now if only I knew how to frame it! HELP!
Thanks for taking a look, John |

Hello John, wonderful combınatıon of colours.Good photo. Thanks and best wıshes.
Good morning
Lovely colours and nice idea to bring them inside to photograph and get the full effect of them all being together. Of course the fragrance will be deligthful.
I did a quick workshop for you just to crop the sides a touch and frame it.
Nice crisp colourful summery capture dad, well done :-)
TFS regards BDS x
Hi John,
Nice shot! The POV makes it very special, although it was born out of a wrong vase.. ;)
You picked out the right colours to make a good setting. TFS, I'll try to do some framework. Tell me what you like!
TFS, Darlene.
WOW, 4 WSs and 3 from Darlene. Cool.
Very nice capture. Looks like they are sticking out of the wall :-).

Hi John, this one immediately brought back memories of my dad, Sweet Peas were his favorite flower and he used to grow them on his allotment in Burley in Wharfedale, near Leeds in Yorkshire in the 1950's. I like the shot, it captures the beauty of sweet peas.
Best regards,
Les
