Blea Tarn

The famous Langdale Pikes are a spectacular backdrop to Blea Tarn, which sits between the Greater and Little Langdale valleys. The tarn is accessible only a few hundred metres from a car park by following a well marked footpath. Lingmoor Fell can be seen on the other side of the tarn, and an enjoyable day can be made from here, by taking in both of the Langdale valleys by walking around the 8 mile circuit of the fell.

Nice compo with the stones on the forground. Very nice reflection of the landscape and clouds. Good colour and sharpness. Good work

This image has everything, good colour, reflection, scenery, skyline, razor sharp and a superb POV. Not to mention the rolling clouds on the left too.

Some wonderful colours there Dean,and sharp all over- good lens.I bought a Tokina 12-24 today hope it's as good yours.

Hi Dean,
You got a wonderful series of photos from this amazingly beautiful area. This one is perfect in its composition and exposure. The perfect reflection makes the photo remarkable. I especially like that pink clouds touching the summit. I might have gone a bit lower in your POV, to get the rock a bit larger. But that is personal preference. You have a small barrel distortion. But that is obvious with this lens.
