Strange title, I know, but this is what my Dad said he looked like when he saw this pic! My Mum looks on, as if in judgement! In truth, I think she was just scowling at me for pointing the camera in her direction!

The Hanging Judge. Actually, you would never find a more patient, loving, kind, good humoured, honorable family man as this one if you travelled the whole world over.

So this is my tribute to a truly wonderful human being. My Dad.

Taken on holiday in Northumberland outside the cottage where we were staying. Just an off the cuff portrait while I was playing around with my camera, paying no particular attention to the settings. How I got a blurry background with f/14, I'll never know, but it seems to work!

Thanks for looking.

Hello Vicky,
despite his age your dad is probably being a little vain, noticing his face has sagged a little over the years. But he certainly doesn't look like a hanging judge. He looks has you describe.A nice portrait and note too.
best wishes to you and your Mum and Dad.
Bev
ps It's nice to know I'm not the only one that doesn't always know why a picture turned out the way it did!
