[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi all!!

Something completley different from me today, spent 10 minutes in the garden yesterday on the picnic table with a flower from the borders and a piece of white A4 typing paper, the wether was overcast and perfect for a couple of nature shots, and this was the result of one of them, at first I was just playing around but I actually like the results here, and hope you will too.

PP cropped and sized, curves adjustment, reshrpened, text added and small border.

Hello Dean, yes, very different. We have these Crocosmia's growing at home, but mine are more orange than yours.
Very attractive laying on the white paper and your weather was excellent for this result. Well done,
Janice

Hiya Dean

Wow this is different from you and I really like it. Great choice of colour and neat wording and framing enhances the flower. Bright crisp and clean image. Good work, look forward to seeing more (Not that there is anything wrong with your ususal style either) Nice to try new things though. Very refreshing.

TFS regards Helen

Ya big softie! :-)

Wow...really different stuff, Dean..and as this is a learning site, top marks. I don't think I seen much along these lines before, this is almost like a greetings cards, and I mean that as a compliment. A very impressive change in style and is well composed with a good balance of complimentary colours. Well done indeed!

Nicely done Dean. Not your usual type of photo but this one has the same qualities as your usual work. Great colours, great detail and a great composition.
Everything achieve in 10 min. at the garden table. Seems like I spent to much time on my shots :)

Cheers,
Jens

Beautiful graphic design, you have a good eye for balance of shapes, sizes, and colors. It looks like a computer generated image from photoshop. An amazing photograph, well done.
