[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this shot during a day trip to Littlehampton in west Sussex, in this shot you can see a very small pier just beside the river Arun, it was a pleasant afternoon and there was some people lazing about in the pier watching the sea view, I made this shot in B&W in order to enfasise the woodwork that the pier is made of, many thanks for dropping by.

Hi Joao,
Very impressive shot with a very good use of sepia tones! The mood is excellent. We have the impression that time stopped on this pier. The excellent perspective enhances this impression. Very good textures and backlit. Bravo! Annie

Hi Joao,
I like this very much. Beautiful POV, and I think the B&W/sepia tone suits it fine. Incidently I posted a similar photo of a broadwalk in Long Island few months ago, check it out.

Convergence. That's what they called this type of perspective in a photography class I took several years ago. It serves this image well and the sepia coloration along with the loneliness of this shot make a strong statement in my mind.

Well done!

Hello,
thanks for this beautiful picture. Really well done on the perspectif and very low PoV. It give a real depth to the picture. I also believe the sepia conversion helped out a lot here.
TFS and thanks for the commment on my PAF pic.
