Well not quite, more like another shot from Blea Tarn earlier in the summer, not getting out a lot lately with starting a new job and weather not being the best so back to the archives for now i'm afraid.

BTW, large version had to be compressed at 50% in order to keep to the sizing structure on T/L, some quality has been lost.


PP Cropped, resized and sharpened.

Excellent image quality. Reflections are very good, thanks to the really lush greens.. and the crop/panoramic format is very interesting. The composition makes good use of this format.

Hi Dean,
I love these kind of shots where you can have a perfectly mirrored composition. Especially when it is also a pefect composition. Love how the wall and its reflection takes the eye toward the fence. Wonderful colors and lighting. The LP version still looks very good.

Hi Dean,

Love the detail and diffusion of the reflection and the vibrant greens. As a musician I deal with the rule of thirds all the time .. the golden mean is typically the point of high tension .. but moving towards a symmetry .. a centered arch of tension .. creates a more meditative almost ritual effect .. like you have created here .. very nice image.
