Very nice composition here. I think you gained a lot by shooting B&W for this one; it really emphasized that dramatic sky. Great job!
London is a beautiful city, with so much history. Good shot, well use fo B&W, but I think it could be better if you should not crop the botton. Could you please load original??

It is a very good composition and a very nice b/w photo. I don't know the colors during the sunset but b/w version is good enough.

excellent photo man ...
i'm stunned, i really love it
BW is great with this composition
great job
i agree, the b&w adds a good touch to the picture. i think the angle could have been a little better, the lion should have been placed in the centre, while the big ben could have been more off to the side...but thats just me!
thanks for sharing!
Dramatic and majestuous, love it, the composition horizontal with element near and far the sky... everything is perfect! A great picture!

I'm sure the color would be great but the B&W turned out excellent Dave. Nice perspective and great job!
God's best,

Hey Shippie!
I'm just taking a break from studying for my Psych test (ugggh) and thought I would check out TL for old time sakes...:) It's been so long, let me see if I even remember how to critique. I actually like the B&W, you've created good rich tones, but you know me and how much I love sunsets, it would have been nice to see this in color as well. But what can ya do? Alright, I'd better go study :(

Very good composition. I like the contrast and the highlight on the lion. Maybe should you correct the slight angle on the tower. Nice croping.
Good work!

I remember this scene on TE, and I believe I also critiqued it there. Glad you moved it over here now. Again I will say that I think standing on the trash can was a great idea to get this unusual point of view. Great photo. Looking forward to seeing the others from TE.

Very strong graphic elements. The lion against the cloudy sky is particularly interesting.

Although you realized too late that your film was not colour, this shot came out well in B/W. Certainly, it is dramatic and majestic with the lion in the foreground and the sky in the background. Too bad, you lost the original photo. Now, you'll have to go back to the same spot in London and take the photo again! Smile.
