Hi Paul. This is a pleasant view but I think several things could improve it further. At the time of taking, a slighty higher angle would include a little more of the background trees and the sky doesn't look bad so that would be okay too and at the same time remove some less interesting foreground. The image is also slightly under-exposed I think but this can be alleviated to some extent. liewise the saturation and sharpness. All small adjustments which together will (IMO) improve your image. I've made a WS so I'll put the details there.

On top of what Vic said, the horizon should be leveled a bit.
It tends to drop to the left.
All in all a very good post for your first.
