[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
After taking this picture, it immediately gave the impression of a view of a cloudy planet from outer space.

This is an unmodifed picture taken with a semi-fisheye lens attachment pointed up at the sky. Just to give a hint of this, on the top right there are some buildings on the horizon.

Quite a good experiment Dan. I almost thought I was looking at a planet when I saw the thumbnail, and was wondering if you had indeed been in outerspace! Good work.

A very fine experiment, Dan !
Good light, great picture....

I too, opened it as the thumbnail looked as though it was taken from space. I had to look to read your explanation. Very good idea. I thought maybe it was a replica of earth taken at a science museum. The effect is very unusual. Well seen.

Very nice picture of your world.
Well done Dan.

Excellant shot with clever foresight and imagination. I too thought it was an 'outerspace' shot before opening and reading your comments. Congratulations on this one

thanks for the experiment and teaching Dan..I would still think it is the earth covered with clouds if the light was not bursting in opposite direction; inside out..

wow, i thought it is a photo of the earth hehehe, this is a great experiment picture. good idea using the fisheye lens. but about the building on the top right and the ring of the fisheye lens maybe it will be nice if its not visible... well, i made you a workshop just to show what i was trying to say.

It does look like Earth!
hahaha! brings to mind a reply i got on TL recently!

Good shot Dan :P

Well I am amazed Dan, I mentioned to Chia (steely)recently about shots like this, and I think you have proved my point. You can read about it here
Anyway this is a great and successful experiment, I like it.
