Gibside Gardens-One of the North's finest landscapes, much of which is SSSI. Gibside is a 'forest garden' currently under restoration, embracing many miles of walks through woodland and beside the River Derwent. There are several outstanding buildings, including a Palladian chapel, Column to Liberty, greenhouse and stables. The estate is the former home of the Bowes-Lyon family

Good use of shadows to draw the eye into the shot, they also give a feeling of winter as the light is so low.

Lovely motive! I like your motive...but.. For me is it a bit to dark with balance you know and I would crop it a bit. I send you a W/S for what I mean. Hope its ok
