[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
An early morning visit to Thrigby wildlife gardens, the sun came out and a "tribe" of short-clawed otters came out of their hide and started playing with anything that they could find in their enclosure. This little guy was totally absorbed with a little stick. As faces go this has definately got to be up there in the "cute animals" category.

Hello, Mark.

Cute indeed! An excellent shot of this little fellow - nice to see an animal like this actually doing something and not just sitting there.

Was this taken at full 500mm focal length? It would be nice to see your Exif data - call me an anorak, but I quite like to see information on ISO, focal lengths and so on - I feel I can learn quite a bit from seeing how others set up their cameras.

Very nice shot!

Best Wishes,

John.

Hi Mark,
lovely PoV and great detail. I like the pose and he's got a beautiful face.
Cheers, John.

Otters are one of my favourites because they just want to have fun. Great focus on the teeth and good eye contact. TFS. K2

Cute indeed, Mark! Lovely to see how the little otter is clawing piece of wood gnawing on it. - Cordelia :))

Tempting to pet, but they have very sharp teeth! Very cute animals and a joy to watch them play, in or out of the water!
Sharp image!
Cheers
Otto

Hi Mark,
Excellent capture! for sure a cute face, I love the details and POV. Nicely done Mark, another of my animal favorite. Thanks, Julie

Hi Mark,
Wonderful highlights on the shiny fur of this happy creature, known for its playfulness. I have at least three of them living in my house. (Yes, our house is a zoo at times.) ; )
Happy shooting,
Karen
