[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi all and very belated happy new year to you all.

Sorry for the recent absence, what with work and family commitments i'm finding it difficult to keep up with trek lens and photography in general, but I have some near future plans for trips so hopefully i'll be back regular again soon.

This is just a snap shot of my 2 year old Josie taken in the garden this morning.

PP, Resized, layered and blurred and opacity set to 35% and finally sharpened.

Lovely portrait...

Welcome back Josie and Dean !

I am actually off0-line for a few days already , but could not missed your cute little girl as the thumbnail was pretty eye-catching. Natural and priceless expression captured. A cool souvenir for the family album.
Well done.
Robert

Hi Dean,

Welcome back and what a lovely shot, you have a perfect little model, my camera is in hospital just now so i am sitting here wondering if i can stretch to the new D300, I'm working on the wife just now.

Hiya Dean

Welcome back and what a deligthful return posting. Really cute little lady here and nice DOF to give a lovely softness in the BG. I like the lighting here too and the colours are also good and true. Neat framing suits the shot well.

TFS regards Helen

The hair shows how sharp the image is. Great.
When you say layered and blurred -- can you explain to me in a bit more detail what you did with your two layers. The result is great-- that's why I'm asking. TFS. K2

Hi Dean,

What a lovely capture of Josie - all radiant and smiling with soft hair and the light coming from behind adds a special atmosphere to the picture.
