Hi all...

I think I really had the time of my life enjoying every mins I have while we were in England... especially time with my son out to explore the unknown places, we learn about each places by going to their information centres, museums and historical buildings. There are so much to learn. We passed by Uppingham many time, but it is always packed with people and no place to park the car, so this time we decided to stop and check out this place no matter how packed they are and what do you know, we are in luck, we found a car park just when we turn in to the parking lot!!! Yippy!!!

Uppingham is a beautiful little town, actually I think most of the villages I been to are all very gorgeous! Little shops around in old buildings as if I am back in time, like a shop called "Wish", a pub name "The Waggon and Horses"(believe me, I didn’t see any wagon nor horses), a cute little florist shop called "Earth's work", gorgeous display with lots of colourful flowers.. this place is full of history, all the building I am looking at are so old and so full of characters, it just awesome. Ok, now you are going to asked me, where is the photos of them? how come instead of posting those photos, I am only showing you this coffee? hehehehe, ok...o.k...

When we are tired of walking around, we decided to go and find a place for our meals.. now.. apparently there are a few places that kids are not allow to go in, so in the main street, we saw this place called Don Paddy's Restaurant, it look like a very relaxing place, so we check it out and it was great, the friendly waitress are full of smile, :D most importantly, kids are welcome... lol...so we decided to have our lunch there, and while sitting there, I just can't believe the surrounding is so beautiful, while sitting there I was taking more then 50 photos.. and of cos that included our lunch and my coffee.

Did you know, if you are in a new place, a coffee is what it need to make you relax and enjoy what's around you? Well.. if you are a coffee drinker, else I am sure a cupa will do the same! :D

Hello Sweety
Your coffee shots always look SOOOOOO good and better then any I have ever had here! I love the blacks and whites.. nice strong aroma.. oops details...
Love the addition of the cookie!!!!
its 8 pm here.. I need a nice strong coffee... :) Thanks

Tricia

Hi Sweety, I like the originality of this, a little like some of Silkes fine works. The tilt makes it dynamic and the quality could be used for an advertisement with a tradename somewhere on this composition. TFS. Murray.

Nice POV as always - good use of the tilt, although the handle-touching-the-frame would be my only niggle. Oh and the biscuit is so small! :(

Lovely rich colours though and I can almost smell the aroma of the coffee!

Rew

Hi Sweety ;)))
wonderful photo and moment...TFS
Have a nice week,
J ;)

Hello Sweety,

I enjoyed touring Uppingham with you! Quite an adventure!

What is so inviting about a simple cup of coffee? I think the slight tilt is a brainwave! It makes the coffee quite irrisitable as it is just about to tip into your mouth!
Great sharp image, well presented.
Must fly now! Need to brew up!

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

hmm... feel like some coffee now....hhahaahha
just been out in the snow, taking pictures...
I must say it wasn't very cold, but it was still a bit dark out...

Lovely image dear... great presentation.

Cheers,
Anneke

Good morning to you too Sweety! You know, I've been meaning to tell you this for a long time, just never took the courage, I hope you won't mind...The best thing about your name is that it really characterises you, you're such a sweet person! There, I said it!
The shot is excellent! rotating the image at an angle it really is creative! Great b&w contrast with a touch of golden brown. I can feel the smell of that coffee...Is that an amaretto cookie? (I'm nuts about "amaretti"!!!) Have a great week, sweet, Sweety! :)

Great shot, I like of as the foam of the coffee it decorates the border of the cup.
Great shot, beautiful visual and colors.

LOL. Shoot first, drink later, Sweety ;o). Mmm... what can I say, other than: this shot makes me thirsty and hungry! But it's too late now to get myself a cup of coffee, bed time is imminent.
I like the tilt you used, while still keeping the cup entirely in the shot. Well done!
