Good Morning Everyone,

Looking out on this damp, misty morning doesn't feel very firey! However, I'm fired up with determination to enjoy the day as I am on holiday! Yipee!

I didn't have a sunset which hadn't already been posted and since Helen's new theme was posted, there haven't been any 'sunsets' around here.

So, plumbing the depths, I thought that LOVE was full of fire and a symbol of love is a red rose. I always think a single red rose is most romantic. This particular specimen is so hot, it is beginning to burn with passion!

Have a good day but don't get burnt!

Many thanks for stopping by.
Please feel free to offer feedback on any aspect of the photograph. :-)

Very creative and pretty, Bev. I like how you have a contrast now from the sharp right side to the fiery left. I find this very attractive and original. The rose is beautiful. Well done.
Warm Regards

Hiya Bev

What a superb idea for this weeks theme, a really beautiful rose capture and absolutely excellent PP work for the burning

TFS and for joining in the theme

kind regards Helen

Hi Bev,
It is great, on how you define the fire here, Bev. Very neat work, making an interesting art on the rose, the symbol of love... A love, which need 'fire' to keep it alive.

Thoughtful contribution, and this is very creative for me. Thank you for sharing.
Regards,
Ramdan.

Hi Bev,
Excellent PP work, which makes it a special posting for the theme. Briliant idea well excecuted!
Hans

Interesting and well done post process work on the one petal here and a nice intepritation of the theme. To make it even more fiery perhaps adjusting the colours a bit to add more warmth to the bluish part of the picture woudl make it "pop" even more. I tried a quick WS.

Hi Bev,
What a beautiful deep red rose, fantastic colours, love the PP work.

hello Bev,
an unusual take on this week's theme. It's nice to confirm that love and romance can still be considered hot after many years of marriage. For me 36 years soon and still requiring a bucket of water (well, once in a while) LOL!
Bev

Hi Beverley,
Nice one, outside the square...I like that.
The rose does look to be trailing flames from the top left.
It fits the theme very well. Enjoy your holiday.
Pete.

Hi Bev,
This one really pops right off the page. The firey red looks especially impressive against the lovely grean and silver blue muted background.
Regards, Tom

Hi Bev,
Great work with both the origional picture and the PP, an interesting interpretation of the theme.
Well done
Regards Andy

Wonderful PP work Bev, well composed with good colour and nicely framed. TFS,
David

Many thanks for your comment on ‘Fire – Swirling Clouds’...did you see Pierre's workshop?

Hi Bev,

Lovely how smooth the red rose transforms into a fiery flame of passion!
I don't think there can be anything improved, or maybe a touch of the yellow to surround the red flame to make it burn even stronger - there is yellow in your leavesm so maybe that could be used with the colour picker.
.
A very elegant and passionate addition for the theme,

TFS
