[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The heavy snowfalls we have had in the South of the UK this weekend created an ideal opportunity for the budding photographer.

This particular image - taken in my back garden - is of one of the last daffodils of the year suffering a somewhat frosty reception.

Hi,
nice photo, I hope, it was the last snow in this spring
greetings
Ryszard

interesting shot one for my theme. i have just put up a daff in the snow, glorious wasn't it'

G'Day,
An interesting photo. It looks quite simple (a bit of snow and a flower) but it looks so much more than that. The sharpness of the image and the detail capture I think helps in that regard. Plus it actually looks like the flower is coming out of the screen.
The out of focus shadows are a tiny bit distracting. Probably more so given the incluttered composition (ie. any small thing stands out).
I like how bright the flower still looks, as if the sun is trying its hardest to warm the flower.
Wonderful.
