Again - a very old shot, from my 3 days stay in London back in 2006, a great city, its a pity i didnt have my new camera back then, but anyway - ill paste a few shots of that trip. =]
Thanks a bunch for your comments =]
As to the ps - so i mainly work with layers. So basically i had the picture of London as the background layer and i took another picture of an old piece of paper and placed it above the background layer. And then i chose that it appeared as "Multiply", i also think i changed the opacity a bit =]
I hope it helps - if not, then just email me =] |

I rellay like this shot a lot. I'm still new to all those possibilities of post processing. I would like to know how you created that oldish effect in this shot. It looks great and I really would like to try it with some of my shots of London but I'm not sure how to do it. Maybe yo can add a hint for me and others?
The atmosphere you create here is great - the contrast between the old elements of London and all those people in modern clothes. how lucky you were just to have only one car in this picture, I don't know how long I waited to get a picture without car behind car...
A great shot you show us here. Thank you so much for sharing. With best regards, Britta

Hallo Marina
Splendid workshop. Good colours and sharpness. It looks back pleasantly. I greet Mark
Well yes, Marina, it DOES look like a photo from former times. A bit old-fashioned, but touching. Appropriate postprocessing given the mood you wanted to create. The warm colours are effective as well.
TFS & kind regards,
Erik

Well done..this oldish style is just mesmerizing!
Victorian England is back;)

Well done, Marina
Canaletto...?
Great details and most of all: The unique (yet - somehow familiar) - finishing of the pic.
Great presentation, gal
