Hi folks,

Today I would like to share this view with you, a view from the top of Rockingham castle. This is another adventure of me and my son, we both pick a castle not far away from where we live to explorer... Of cos both of us always like to visit a real castle! :D He like the knight, I like the archiecture.

It is a fine day to begin with, but once when we were there, the sun slowly drifted away and replaced it with grey clouds, but we still didn't want to go home as this is the second time we were trying to get into Rockingham Castle, the first time they were close for some reason.

Anyway... we both took lots of photos around this castle, spending time going through the garden, the castle itself and so on. My little boy love the vast 400 year old "Elephant Hedge" bisects the formal 17th century terraced gardens, this castle have a living history of over 900 years, which I think is facinating.

It is a moment my son and I both cherish our surounding. This is the place where my son give me the flowers on the camera cap... it is a magic moment for me... My son also told me, "did you know that we are in a very old castle?" lol.. "yes, I do" is my reply. We went on to do the quiz for the castle, he run around to look for clue and everything, it was a fun day for us.

Hi Sweety,
That follows the title, really breathtaking with lovely patterns.

Beautiful, bright & colourful ... actually made me feel relaxed as though I was there overlooking the scene myself. Well done!

How wonderful this is Sweety - yes it takes your breath away a view like this.
A lovely natural sunny patchwork view.

End this month we are taking the grandsons to a real castle (they also love the concept of knights - of course, boys do...) and indeed I admire the architecture.

Thanks for sharing this trip - hope you found your way home after this.

Hi Sweety,
What a lovely photo. This is exactly how I imagined English countryside would look. The quilted fields separated by hedges.

Hello Sweety,
Typical English farmland, where the pattern of the fields are most eye-catching, divided in patches for the different crops!
Good point of view and the foreground interest creates a fine feeling of depth...
Greetings,
Pablo -
