[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Last weekend I visited a garden centre and came home with this flower.I didn't have to pay for it. I just photographed it. I will pay areturn visit in a week or two when the weather is warmer and purchase these pretty violas and some pansies too as they are happy flowers. What do you think? I also spotted some native cowslips and I adore those.

Hi Bev
Wonderful shot, beautiful soft colors and a superb light very well composed, it a pleasure to look at, my compliments and TFS.
Greetings
Jens.

Hello Bev,
Very beautiful flowers & excellent macro. There are some black things on top right & middle bottom that are quite distracting. I think the image needs some sharpening & contrast. I'll try a WS if you don't mind. TFS. Regards. Latiff.

Hi Bev

Lovely bright colours the dark back ground sets them off well.

Thanks
Gil

ouch this could be so much sharper around the middle of the flower in particular, do watch your camera shake as i know you can't set up a tripod in a garden center. i use them myself, and i know how tricky pansies are to take with macro. a good effort and fair composition.

Hi Bev,
Wonderful macro of lovely violet...
Nice colours and excellent detailles.tfs.

Hello Bev,

I did something similar a couple of weeks a go.
John (Tyro) threatened to report me for theft of an image!

Your composition of these choirboy faces is excellent here! The texture of the petals and the colours are good. I think it just needs a little sharpening for perfection.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Infact.. looking close.. it is just what others see as''un-sharpness''
is translated by me as a wonderfull soft focus look
That enhences this photo ..Soft and tender, to be honest I find
this a VERY good photo. Should atleast have 3x the point total
