Hello Everyone,

I hope you have all had an enjoyable weekend.
We have had a big family get-together today which has been great fun!

Today, I posting my favourite little garden bird, the robin. This little guy was extra busy collecting seeds and bits of fat ball dropped by the tits. I think the cold weather must have put extra food demands on the birds.

Robins really are the most sociable of birds. When we are working in the garden, he will come and join us, either sitting on the fence or hopping from the bushes onto the decking. Here he is, surveying all from the edge of the decking.

Hand held at about 4 metres.

Many thanks for your visit.
Please feel free to offer feedback on any aspect of the shot. :-)

What a lovely photo of this little robin Bev. They realy are included in my list of favourite birds too although the ones found here look a bit different - their colouring is more orange than red.
TFS and also for the always welcome comment on my photos.

Enjoy a wonderful week!

HI Bev
Your robins are a much friendlier than ours and also a bit different body wise.
Its a very nice composition and the frame is really pretty but I find it takes the spotlight away from the bird. But that is just me, the important thing is that you love it.
Dot

The first Robin!! A true sign of spring! Really nic shot Bev, I missed this one yesterday! Really nice close shot, nice and sharp! Don't you wish you had fingernails like he does?
