[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
As John Denver once sang, "Take me home country roads", I'm more at home strolling along country paths, or down by the burn (camera in hand of course). Maybe it's because I live in a semi-rural area, or maybe it's because I find the thought of city/town life terrifiying and stressful!
I love walking in the country, and listening to bird song, and looking out for local wildlife, and find it very theraputic.
This image was taken down by an old ruined millhouse, which fed off the River Irvine. Recently developers have ravaged the area, by building very expensive homes, and almost certainly destroying habitats for the local wildlife population. It's a sad time I'm afraid.

Tech Bit:
Not much done to the image, processed RAW file, adjusted saturation, sharpened for web, and resized to TL.
Hope you like it, because in a wee while it will probably be tarmac'd!!!

Hello Graham, I think I'd like to walk along this country road too. Definitely less stressful than in city/town life. But it looks like it's going to turn into suburbia if the developers have their way,
