Good Morning Everyone,

Spring is a busy time of year for birds, with nest building a priority. This little robin was scurrying around the garden and picking up bits of twigs and leaves. Since he is far too smart to be eating these, I presumed they were for a new home.

I just managed to catch him having a little rest before flying back into the tree.

Robins are such friendly sociable little birds. We are lucky enough to have them all the year round in England so we often associate them with Christmas rather than messengers of spring.

Many thanks for your visit.

You thought I was going to miss this one, didn’t your Bev? Not a chance. Life is hectic right now so I don’t get much chance to be here but I had to visit this little fellow. These little guys quickly stole my heart and I adore them. You have done an excellent job of the great detail on him/her. Once my life settles a bit I will try and get a robin from here to share with you.
All the best
Wanda

What a sweet little puffy 'ball' this robin seems to be, Bev! They don't always 'come with' a blue collar, do they? I find the frame original in that it runs only on three sides. However, it seems a bit heavy, a simple thin line might have sufficed. What do oyu reckon? Nevertheless, I do enjoy looking at 'your' bird. - Cordelia :))

Hello Beverley!

I like this Robinson's robin very much. A shot well-composed and processed! I also like your framing, the way you used the stone on the bottom. Well done! TFS.

Hi Beverley,
Nice shot, good capture and well presented Robin.Good job.
Best Regards

bev - a nice capture - good composition and i like the depth of field....mark

I love the composition in this. They are a beautiful bird, unfortunately we don't have them in this area. The colours re so soft.

Beautiful shot of a beautiful creature. Very nice blend of colors. Right on!
