Battersea Park is a large (83 hectares/200 acres) Victorian park, built between 1854 and 1870. It was formally opened in 1858. A major programme of work has recently been completed to restore and refurbish many of the Victorian and Festival of Britain elements of the park. There is much to enjoy. Features include a grand 1 kilometre riverside promenade, magnificent fountains, a large lake, lakeside cafe, ornamental and ecological areas, many notable trees, sporting facilities, children's play areas and the Battersea Park Children's Zoo.

Hi Figen,
This beautiful flowered and symmetric composition could appear static, but, the motion of the cyclist gives it more life and energy!
Very interesting! Bravo! Annie

Hello Figen. You have documented London pretty well in your gallery. Nicely blurred cyclist against the sharpness in the park. Excellent work and thanks for sharing. Best regards. Jusni

The japanese cherry, always very beautiful color. is it a pity that the cyclist be so restive at the foreground... :-)
But this is a good image in spite of that.

Thx for sharing.

Hello Figen,
A funny situation, where the cyclist gives the impression of being in a hurry, not impressed by the beautiful scenery around!
A well balanced composition with good colours, the lovely spring blossom is breathtaking...
Greetings,
Pablo -

Bonjour,
Bonne utilisation du floue et net.
Bonne journée.

Hello Figen,
This is exquisite. Cloudy spring days always boost colors. Well framed, the blur from the biker's movement add to the overall enhancement of the image. My best regards, Danilo

hi figen

I like the colorful flowers in this garden and the composition is nicely done. The biker's shadow is just a mystic added. Good work.

tfs, bill
