Avebury is my favourite place in England, I really do love that wee village and it's circle - far more impressive than Stonehenge. Mrs Arab and I stayed in Avebury several times...the village and the stones were the setting for a TV program when I was but a lad..."Children of The Stones", it was called. The place has fascinated me ever since.

Anyway, that aside, the light quality here is very nice and you've caught the essence of the area pretty well - green fields, the odd stone, the thatched house...lovely stuff and brings back great memories!

Ahh Sweety!! This is super nice! EXCELLENT green tones, the bits of light are SO nice here coming from the clouds! And I REALLY like the little red house/barn in the shot! Aaahhh you get an award for this one girl!!

Now that's an achievement, Sweety! 400 wonderful contributions to TL.

Way back when I started, you were one of the photographers whose work took my breath away - you inspired me and challenged me to do better.

Today you still inspire me, but I have also become friends with the woman behind those images ... a woman who really does live up to her name. (Sweety. Not Puffy.)

Thanks for sharing your gallery. And thanks for sharing this shot - the light here is exquisite, it seems to glow from the screen. Textbook composition and a beautiful view.
