This is lovely. I really suppose this is what pretty much all of Britain looked like until deforestation took place: most of the country was apparently deciduous forest which, I presume, would have looked pretty similar to this.

Lovely colours and lighting - great light and shade but with full details still visible in the brightest areas and in the darkest shadows.

Composition is great, with the branches of the two big trees (Oak?) framing the country path, and drawing the eye into the scene.

Hi Jean,
Effective use of light brings on lovely soft shadows and clear colors. Excellent depth to the view through the oaks into the mysterious forrest.
