Westpoint Island
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Westpoint Island has been in Roddy and Lilly Napier's family since its first settlement in 1879. Choosing to leave their island home as little as possible, Roddy and Lilly embody a dying breed of rugged and self-sufficient 'Kelpers'. As visitors return from the albatroz colony they are invited in for tea back then and it would be unthinkable to give up the tradition now been known to fly off with mitts and hats left unattended.
You can see their houses in the right corner of the picture.
PS was only a horizon correction, and bring it from RAW to jpeg.
Cheers,

You captured a great scene, here. The way the horizon horizon curves gives a broad feeling to the photo. I like it very much. It's curious to know you only changed the horizon in PS (straighter or more bent?). I thought you also added contrast (yellow of the stones in the foreground looks a bit overblown to me). But overall; congrats! TFS
