Dear friends,
This is Putney Railway Bridge, just a short walk from Putney Bridge (which is to my right in this POV).

This night, I was out specifically to shoot Putney Bridge - which I have actually done before about a year and a half earlier.
That earlier capture was done very late at night and can be seen on my photography site or on TrekEarth here.

Though happy with the earlier shot, I was here again, this time for a capture of the bridge during the blue hour.
Incidentally, the first time I was here I did not even consider shooting the Railway Bridge (i.e this post) - but this time it immediately caught my eye while shooting the Road Bridge nearby.

Since these two bridges (i.e. Putney road and rail bridges) are quite close together, it was good fun going back and forth shooting between both.
I then decided to post the Railway Bridge this time :-)

Very minimal PP - Slight saturation boost, USM.
Exposed at F/10, and at 30 seconds.

Thanks for looking :-)

Hi Daniel,

Perfectly lighted and razor sharp image of this railway bridge. Again a great composition and perfectly presented.
Every time I look at your pictures I'm amazed at their clarity and lack of noise. Envy your shots I have to admit...

Hi Daniel,
With your POV showing the the shadows below the bridge, your photo could have been heavy, but the splendid range of blues passing from darkness to softness, lighted the composition and gave it a great balance.
Acuity and sharpness are great as usual! Bravo! Annie

HI Daniel
Capturing those impressive pillars and reflection while still having a good dof, is pretty awesome especially at that time of night. Bravo

hi Daniel

Your style of catching early morning or late evening landscape shots is clearly striking here for 30s exposure to give still reflection and nicely captured river view.

Hello Daniel.
Lovely composed picture. Beautiful colours and light. Perfect exposure and sharpness. Lovely photo and You did a great job here as this bridge itself looks to be an ugly construction.

Let me think Daniël, since I can not find more photo info as to the time - the Blue Hour - is that just before sunrise early in the morning?

Very fitting title for this very attractive picture.
Can not seem to find anything to critique and believe me I looked over the whole picture!

Hello Daniel,

Great to be in touch again!

This is a great pov to have chosen. The bridge directs the eyes straight into the shot!
My first impression is the strength of the supports. They look like the legs of a giant hippo!
The composition is excellent and I just love the soft blue colour punctuated by the warm glowing lights.

kind regards,
Bev :-)

Many thanks for your latest crique on my 'Country Shadows'.

Hi Daniel,
Good angle,good composition,beautiful photo,congratulation.

The yellow reflections on the blue water is very nice and pop out. Good perspective and composition.

You have such beautiful photos! I am surprised no one stops and wonders what you are doing at night. In the USA, suspicion is high often.
