Robin red breast

This is a little English Robin. This was taken at Stover country park. Robins are quite common in England but i liked this shot because of the water and fallen Birch branches. This was in a drainage ditch. I was happy with the detail as it was not an easy shot with my 75-300mm lens with a 2 x converter on. No tripod and it was a bit lacking in daylight.

Overview
The UK's favourite bird - with its bright red breast it is familar throughout the year and especially at Christmas! Robins sing nearly all year round and despite their cute appearance, they are aggressively territorial and are quick to drive away intruders. They will sing at night next to street lights.

Hi Codge,
Nice capture of what I find is a really shy bird. Nice and sharp, with good colours. Good to see him in his natural habitat.
Cheers
