thought i would post this red damselfly on this site as well as TN see who likes it the most. an unusual front shot your thoughts please.
Latin name: Pyrrhosoma nymphula
Size: Wingspan approximately 50mms.
Distribution: Found throughout the UK.
Months seen: May to September.
Habitat: Seen close to ponds, streams and rivers.
Food: Insects.
Special features: This is one of our commonest damselflies, and often one of the earliest to be seen in each year.
Both the male and female have a red abdomen with black markings. The thorax is black with red stripes, and the legs are black. |

extraordinary POV here - YES they do have faces and very interessting eyes. Thanks for your critique on my Red Dragon post. I never knew there are different species like dragon and damselfly. Thats why i do not ost to TN. It would be impossible for me to identify what I am shooting - or at least take very much time to find out. Have a great day.

Like your narrow DOF - makes it look like a pair of eyes are climbing over the vegetation. Very well captured. Don't know how the folks on TN will react but I'll give it a 10.
Been off the machine for a while but should be back for a while now.
