View on the village Corfe

This is a view from the top of the hill were the Corfe castle is situated. Silke (with cane!) and I climbed to the top were the views were magnificent. The sun was shining bright which made it not easy to make clear pictures. Nevertheless the panorama was breathtaking! Roy, Silke’s partner, was the smartest of the three of us. He stayed in the shadow of the tea house, reading a book and drinking tea as a born Englishman should do. Anyway a gorgeous day in the Dorset hills.

PP work:

Used JPEG image, increased saturation and contrast. Selected sky and increased blue tones. Add frame and resized, sharpened.

Hoi Hans,

Vermaak je je een beetj daar?
Fraaie foto van dit aardige engels dorpje. Het groen spat ervan af. Alles mooi scherp.

Groeten,

Edwin

A beautiful view here Hansie! Nice details, and yes, I think I see her, Silke!, in her swimsuit.there...see her??? there on the lawn! she is so tiny! Very nice use of thirds here Hansie! Yes, Roy stayed in the warm, sipping tea, while Silke and I raced in the snow and ice to the falls...I see a pattern here! HAHA!

Engeland spreekt me zowiezo heel erg aan.
En groen he...

Anneke

something rememebers me.. the country near Les Baux (Provence, France).. even if i'm not sure, maybe it's a different country.. always beautiful!! ;))

ciao Marco

The splash of red from the bus really adds a lovely feature here, Hans -- well spotted!
Great posting, with superb work on the colours -- this is the way I remember it

P.S. We arrived safely at 21:00 yesterday -- Have tons of work to do before I can post :(

The blue sky and lighting give a very nice atmosphere on this sunny day. The red bus is a great eyecathcher. Well done
Best wishes,
Achim

If you were a gentleman Hans you would have hired a wheelchair and pushed TLOL up the hill. An excellent POV and the image has good colour and detail. On my 17" LCD I can see some halo along the skyline and the trees towards the middle of the image appear to be oversharpened, just wondering if it needed sharpening at all?

Hallo Hans.

Hi Hans. I like the several diagonals that you have leading the eye to the BG. Great charm captured. If I had to be picky, I wonder if the horizon looks a bit over-sharpened. TFS. K2

Machtig mooi dorp. Mooie reeks foto's.
groeten,
Joop!
