A happy view

Hi folks! I’m still in the UK (Norwich) and prepared some pictures and notes so I didn’t lose time which is due the business quite limited for me at the moment. But so now and than I will peek on TL (can't resist) and try to look at the pictures and write some critiques, but to be honest a time is a major factor for the moment. Sorry for that.

Nonetheless a "happy view” from the happy few :-) Here the view of a row of "typical" English houses in Boscombe, a suburb of Bournemouth. The people who live in these houses must have a splendid view over the sea. In this area the partner of Silke, Roy was raised. Roy had nice stories about his youth (last century :-) These houses with there typical chimney's catches my eye and took some pictures of it. The red, white and blue are eye-catching, don’t you think?

Anyway; enjoy the splendid view of the happy few!

Hi Hans,
I like the diagonal inclination on these houses - which has obviously been well exploited with your choice of POV.
Exposure is very well approached too.

Well done.
Best regards, Daniel

Hi Hans

The wide angled pamoramic format was a smart choice here. Good sharpness & vibrant colour with excellent repetition of the terrace houses. Tfs!

Just beautiful Hans! Yes, Roy was born in the last century, HA! but so was I!! AND YOU TOO! HAHAHA! This is a very nice comp, looks like you all had a grand time!

They have the most splendid view of the ocean from there, that's for sure. I took a picture of one of the signs on the buildings so I have the number for future reference. Perhaps next year we can afford to stay there with that view??
Great diagonal composition, fine colours (I will post my vrsion some time within the next couple of weeks :)

Very nice, really captures the feel of the English neighborhood well. To those of us in the states it's a very specific look.
I like the perspective and the POV you selected too.
Nice work, as always.

Hi Hans, This is the side of the UK which appeals to me greatly. The high buildings obviously with a good view of some sort. The clear blue skies and the fringe of green complete this happy view. TFS. Murray.

Hoi Hans.
Aardig straatje met rijtjes huizen.
Niet zo gek dat de prijzen daar meer doen dan mijn twee onder een kap in Berrege.
Toch maar niet ruilen, toch ?
Groeten van Jan
