These young visitors from France were having a wonderful time listening to a singer in the plaza outside the "Bath Abbey." Rarely have I seen kids get into the music the way these students did.
And of course they and their teacher have my calling card just case they want copies :)

I will post the singer as a WS just for fun

Tech: captured in raw, adjusted levels, converted to jpg, resized without cropping, framed and signed

Thanks for looking and have a wonderful day and weekend

One of my ABSOLUTE FAVORITES of yours darlin, you get an award for this one!! Happy memories, love the children in this! Superb pp work! The comp is excellent! The joy on their faces is just amazing! I'm happy now!
B-)
Linda

The singer is also great and he shines Silke, but this group of kids really is personifying joy (is this understandable english?).
Such a lovely BG you had for your picture.
Would not mind having be there and listened to that singer and those reactions.

Hi Silke,
A cheerful picture, great expression of those kids. A pity you didn't capture the feet of the two most left persons. Anyway a fine contribution to the "sound" theme!
Hans

Silke,

This is just my kind of shot! Not one person noticing the photographer! Their expressions are terrific....everyone having a good time. This certainly made my day!

What a fabulous presentation Silke, to give us both sides of the view.

Hi Silke,

"sound" like very one enjoy the performance... excellent captured... yes you were right, not much kids now a day will enjoy performance like that, maybe some of them will get into "Matellica" or something.. but yeah... I like the lighting, the colours and your compositon, the only thing I wish that you have included their feet...:P

Have a nice day,

Cheers,
Sweety

Really great idea for the "sound theme". Their faces and bodies are so animated that you can almost hear the laughter, applause and yells coming from those happy, excited faces.
Good moment of capture to help that along,
Nicely done, TFS,

Hi Silke

Hope you can throw away that walking stick real soon. I don't want you to start taking swipes with it, at people who annoy you (but only if they deserve it, lol!) A nice 'happy' image, in a world filled with depressing news, more often than not. Tfs!

A candid or snap shot is always a snap shot. You cannot perfect this kind of picture. Like the cutting of the foot from the picture or so. Under the harsh light was the burnst of the whites. What matters is the moment of the time. That falls the breaking of the rules. In photography, technicalities is not always the supreme but education and happiness it brings you........
