[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello dear TL-friends.
Here is my contribution to the Friday's theme "Sound".

Four years ago I visited the famous Military Tattoo in Edinburgh. I love these type of music very much. When I was a soldier I have played in a military trumpet corps. In that time I have played in the Dutch national tattoo in the city of Delft.
I also was a several years the leader of a well-known Dutch marchingband.

The Edinburgh Tattoo was a particular experience. I have enjoyed the music of the different bands, the brass, the pipe and drums, the massed bands and the dancers.
All this took place against a superb setting: the Edinburgh Castle. I want to go back again!

Hi Adri,
A fine picture of the Edinburgh castle and it's famous tattoo. You were lucky to be inthat particular period. You didn't use a tripod and even with 1/16 sec shutter speed you managed it well to get a reasonable sharp picture. You could even have used a higer speed, the picture appeard a bit to bright. Nevertheless a superb contribution to the "sound" theme.

I watched the Edinburgh Tattoo on TV one year and really enjoyed it. And when I was in Edinburgh in 1999 we were too early for it. But what a place to hold it - you show the scene well Adri - thank you,

Goeie dag, Adri. Daar zit Muziek in, toch ?
Good shot with sound in it.
Dus jij speelde een behoorlijk deuntje mee ? Was je 'beroeps' ? Gaaf hoor.!!!
Het lijkt me een mooiere entourage daar in Edinburgh dan bij ons in Delfs, al moet ik bekennen dat ik nooit naar zo'n Taptoo ben geweest, worden ze nog steeds gehouden, waren toch ook in Breda ?
Ik hoor het nog wel.
