I like the contrasting colors here. I wonder how much they cost to rent?
As always, the focus is great and the composition is professional. I think how they are built on the bottom of a hillside is very neat.
I am not sure how you could improve this image. It's very eye-catching.
Have you thought about B&W with selective color?

I must admit, I have never seen huts such as this. The colors are so bright. I like your nice close view showing details of the huts. Nice including the contrasting rusty railing.... effect of the sea, I'm sure.

I don't consider this "abstract" Hans, but very definite shapes, mathematical even: rectangles, triangles, circles even. The wire in the fence is a nice pattern too.
Well seen, well captured. Especially the near-symmetry is terrific.

OH my, you and Silke are on the same wave length today! Really nice to see the two presented here! The colors here are REALLY nice and strong, which makes the POP on the thumbnail Hansie! Now do people sleep in there? A bit claustrophobic for me? HAHA!

Hi Hans,

Back in few months ago, when I learnt photography from a friend . . that I should find object with main colors of red and blue . . capture it, and try setting the white balance until I get the exact color with the real object . . and was difficult exercise to do . .
Finally after several tries, I found the precise setup for WB . .
With my D300, it's no longer difficult to get exact color . .
You show me how nice these colors and stands out from the surrounding . .
I like the composition . .

I am a bit puzzled about your title, red and blue, although I also see white and grey. but I suppose you refer more to the door colors. That is ok. What I like is the repeatitive shape, color and lines of everything in this pov and composition. Nice work and makes a good symmetry too.

In ieder geval véél leuker om naar te kijken
dan de strandhuisjes aan onze Belgische kust !

Ik zie aan je crop dat je er een soort symmmetrie aan wou geven.
Weet niet of het mogelijk was maar een " halve " meter meer naar links als POV had dit direct voor je gedaan. Kon je nog de buitenkanten naar wens croppen.
'k Weet het : achteraf is het makkelijk praten
:-)
Zulke zaken maken het verschil tussen een leuke foto en een sterke foto.
Dit zijn niet mijn woorden, ik herhaal maar.
Ze worden me wekelijks ingepeperd ...

Wonderful image, good eye to see the shot here. I like the symmetry created by how you cropped the edges of the frame to the peak of the roofs on either side. The colors are vibrant and everything is sharp. I can't think of anything you could do to improve on it. Well done.

Interesting capture of such little architecture.
Good colours.
I would try to see how it looks w/o the other two "sheds" which seem to be cut off here.
