Took this shot in the square of my home town of Selkirk when all our local bands play in the afternoon leadng up to Selkirk common riding which is a very important day for our local town more on this next week when they could a few photos from our festivities hopefully

This is a very nicely done shot, the shallow depth of field isolates the piper from the busy background very well

really nice shot of this piper. Very good color and contrast, excellent tight crop and the DOF is outstanding. I LOVE bagpipes. Odd, too, I have a friend who's a photographer on Trekearth who is from Galashiels. You guys sure have a never ending source for marvelous photographs in Scotland. Well done!
