Doh... don't be daft Smurfie

Its not landed and its not an Eagle either...

New title "The dove glides down" ?

No that doesn't quite have the same punch.

Shot at my dad's in the back garden a few weeks ago.

A small amount of detail regarding the title taken from Wikipedia...

ood morning Helen.
Very good action shot of that noisy bird. Nicerly presented too.
Have a lovely and sunny day.
Jan

Hi Helen,
The bird in flight effectively adorns the scene from your dad's garden. Besutiful. I can recognize rhododendron and ferns but cannot id the blue flowers. My best regards, Danilo

Funny note and title Helen.
I love the surrounding area and colors in the background here.
The bird is perfectly suspended and you cropped and placed it perfectly in the frame.
Well done.

TFS!

This is a wonderful image, Helen! Everything is sharp but the wings, which is perfect because it conveys the energy of flight. Lovely background with vibrant colors. Great note, too.
Cheers -
Sandy

This is so nice Helen! PERFECT sharpness in his eyes, love the blur of the wings! I like how you cropped this, with the bird low, flying UP... Your flowers are to die for!!
B-)
Linda

Hi Helen
Well done for getting a shot of this bird in flight. Requires good timing. I just think your border could be smaller so hat we can see more of your image. Regards
Mike

Hello Helen! Very funny shot, the quality is very good too, great colors and details! Well done, thanks!

Mario

Hello Helen
A nice capture.
sharp, crisp with premium clarity.
The wings are blurred but that is obvious due to the frantic motion.
The mauve blossoms in the bg are awsome too.
(thanks for the info).
